Michael Theodore Gutierrez, resident of Fallon, passed away October 2, 2013. Mike was born August 14, 1968 in Daly, California to Theodore and Lydia Gutierrez. The family moved to Fallon in 1981. He attended schools in Fallon since 6th grade, graduating from Churchill County High School. Mike worked in construction for several years, he worked in Reno for Truckee Meadows Air Conditioning and then he went to work for Union Pacific, where he has worked for several years. Mike loved football, was an avid St. Louis Rams fan, and he enjoyed 4- wheeling in the desert.
Mike is survived by his parents, Ted and Lydia from Fallon; sisters, Annette Smith and Andrea Pearson; nieces and nephews, Jason Smith, Nicole Smith, Jessica Smith, Christopher Pearson and Michael Pearson.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at 11:00 A M at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Fallon with interment to follow at Churchill County Cemetery.
