Obituary: SSgt Michael Landis

SSgt Michael Landis, passed away in Tampa, Florida on November 13, 2013. Mike was born in Fallon November 9, 1986. He attended schools in Churchill County, graduating from Churchill County High School in 2005. He enlisted in the United States Air Force in 2006. He has done extensive traveling throughout his enlistment and received numerous medals.

Preceded in death by his grandfather, Jack Landis. Mike is survived by his mother, Stephanie Brennan; sister, Zaria Landis; grandmother, Carol Landis; aunts and uncles, Roben and Bryce Card; Jackie Germann; Amy and Matt Helmers; step-parents, Dave and Andrea Vest; step-siblings, Kristen; Lindsay; Brett and Alex.

A visitation at The Gardens Funeral Home will be from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm on Thursday, November 21, 2013, Friday, November 22, 2013 from 9:30 until time of service at 11:00 A M. Graveside services with full Military Honors will follow service at The Gardens Cemetery.

Donations may be made to the Fallon Elks Lodge for the State Major Project, which is for children, 93 West Center Street Fallon, Nevada 89406.
