Elementary track meet Thursday
The Churchill County High School track and field team hosts its 10th annual track and field meet for third-, fourth-, and fifth-graders on Thursday.
The meet and late registration will begin at the CCHS track at 9 a.m. There will be sprinting, distance running, jumping and throwing events.
The cost is $20 per participant and includes a T-shirt and awards.

Softball team hosts youth camp
The Fallon softball team hosts its youth camp on Saturday at the varsity field.
Session 1 runs from 9 a.m.-noon for ages 9-11, and Session 2 is from 1-3 p.m. for 12-14 year olds. Cost is $25 per player.

Rattlesnake Run set for Saturday
Churchill County Parks and Recreation’s third annual Rattlesnake Trail Run is slated for Saturday.
The entry fee is $20 for all participants. We will have a post race around ceremony to award the winners in each age division.
