Carson City Senior Citizens Center, 911 Beverly Drive:

MONDAY: Irish stew with beef, colcannon potatoes, pears and lemon meringue pie.

TUESDAY: Lemon-baked cod, broccoli, peaches, bread and margarine.

WEDNESDAY: Pulled pork on a bun, baked beans, peas, bananas in orange juice and poke cake.

THURSDAY: Country-fried steak, mashed potatoes, corn and spiced apples.

FRIDAY: Loaded turkey sandwich, coleslaw, baked potato chips, fruit cups and pudding.


Dayton Senior Center, 320 Old Dayton Valley Road:

MONDAY: Polish sausage, hoagie rolls, garden salad with onions, bell peppers and dressing, potato wedges and apricots.

TUESDAY: Baked meatloaf, mashed potatoes, steamed spinach, lettuce and tomato salad, low-sodium French dressing, whole-wheat bread, peach butter and fruit cups.

WEDNESDAY: Chicken tetrazzini, mixed vegetables, broccoli salad, whole-wheat dinner rolls, apple butter and cherry, apricot and granola cups.

THURSDAY: Breaded fish squares, whole-what buns, tartar sauce, broccoli, cauliflower and carrots, Tater Tots and pears.

FRIDAY: Corned beef, cabbage, carrots, potatoes, apples, Irish soda bread, cake and ice cream.


Douglas County Senior Center, 2300 Meadow Lane:

MONDAY: Corned beef and cabbage, Jell-O fruit salad, red potatoes and carrots, rye bread, apple juice and lime sherbet.

TUESDAY: Sausage and peppers over polenta, apple walnut slaw, broccoli spears, roasted garlic bread and cherry turnovers.

WEDNESDAY: Turkey bean soup, bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwiches, orange spinach salad and canned pears.

THURSDAY: Stuffed bell peppers, white rice, tropical fruit salad, rolls and apple crisp.

FRIDAY: Turkey and stuffing casserole, Waldorf salad, dinner rolls and cranberry sauce.


Silver Springs Senior Center, 1050 Pyramid Ave.:

MONDAY: Corned beef and cabbage, potatoes, apples, rye bread and banana pudding.

TUESDAY: Lasagna, garlic bread, cauliflower, apricots and sherbet.

WEDNESDAY: Reuben sandwiches on rye, thousand island dressing, sauerkraut, macaroni salad, pears and orange juice.

THURSDAY: Hungarian goulash over spinach noodles, peas, carrots, lettuce and tomato salad, whole-wheat bread and peach butter.

FRIDAY: Italian turkey burger, baked steak fries, peas, carrots and honeydew melon.


Storey County Senior Citizens Center, corner of E and Mill streets in Virginia City:

MONDAY: Corned beef, cabbage, corn bread and salad.

TUESDAY: Chicken and bean tostadas, Spanish rice, chips, salsa and fruit.

WEDNESDAY: Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, spinach, lettuce and tomato salad and bread.

THURSDAY: Clam chowder, turkey sandwiches, carrots, celery and fruit.

FRIDAY BREAKFAST 10-11: Ham, eggs, hash browns and fruit.


Yerington Senior Center, 117 Tilson Way:

MONDAY: Corned beef and cabbage, red potatoes, green salad, bread and apple crisp.

TUESDAY: Sweet and sour pork, fried rice, cauliflower, egg rolls, fortune cookies and peaches.

WEDNESDAY: Barbecue sandwiches, corn on the cob, coleslaw and tapioca pudding.

THURSDAY: Chili stuffed potatoes with toppings, salad, Jell-O and fruit.

FRIDAY: Fried chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, green salad, cake and ice cream.
