Western Nevada College is offering a workforce development course through its Community Education Division. The course is designed to teach the student new skills to offer the employers of our community. Employability Skills Training: Each session meets Friday 4 p.m.-7 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m.-noon. There are four sessions to choose from: Sept. 18 & 19, Dec. 11 & 12, March 11 & 12, and June 10 & 11. At the conclusion of the workshop, students will understand the basic skills necessary for getting, keeping and doing well on a job. Fee: $120.
