Lollipop Productions is holding open auditions from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Gold Dust West for its comedy production of “Motherhood Out Loud.”

“Motherhood Out Loud,” presented by special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service, is a collection of monologues and short scenes about being a mother, step-mother, foster mother or anything in-between.

Co-directed by Dana Lyn Blane and Heidi Hampton and produced by Carla J. Wilson, auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. There are roles for three adult women and one adult man.

Dinner theater performances will be on Friday, May 8, Saturday, May 9, and a Sunday matinee brunch on May 10. All performances will be at the Gold Dust West. All actresses, actors and technicians involved with this production will receive a stipend for their work upon the end of the run.

Those auditioning are encouraged to bring a theatrical resume and head shot if available. Cast members must be available for rehearsal at least two evenings per week through May 1.
