Two of three men accused of armed robbery in February were sentenced Monday morning.

Jamal Kemp, 28, and Justin Moore, 33, were both charged as being an ex-felon in possession of a firearm and received 18 to 45 months in the Nevada Department of Corrections with no probation.

The two men, along with Tashawn Sharp, 34, were arrested in February after deputies responded to reports of a robbery in progress on the 1000 block of Woodside Drive. The men are from Sacramento and came to Carson to collect money from the victims.

All three men had been arrested for robbery with a deadly weapon, possession of drug paraphernalia, felon in possession of a firearm and conspiracy to commit robbery. Moore and Kemp both had their charges reduced to just felon in possession of a firearm after a deal made with the District Attorney.
