The couple had 2 children and in 1968 they moved their family to Wyoming, then Nevada and eventually settled in Carson City. She worked for the State Industrial Insurance System (SIIS) for 25 years and retired in 1999. After she and Tony both retired, they spent many years traveling in their RV, camping with their Good Sam friends, and socializing with the wonderful people of the Carson City Elks Lodge. Her passion was playing with her great-grandchildren.
