A golf tournament to benefit high school students in Carson City, Douglas, Lyon and Churchill counties is returning on Saturday, Sept. 10.

Sierra Nevada Association of Realtors’ Scramble for Scholarships Alyce McCracken Memorial Golf Tournament will be at Eagle Valley Gold Course. The $85 per person entry fee includes lunch.

Raffle tickets will be available for purchase, and prizes will be awarded for the putting contest, longest drive and closest to the pin.

Participants will win prizes if a hole-in-one is hit. Prizes include a 2016 Toyota Scion from Carson City Toyota; $10,000 in cash; an Apple iPad and more.

The annual tournament is in honor of Alyce McCracken, a realtor and resident of Northern Nevada who had a passion for continuing education.
