Carson City Sheriff’s Office: Man arrested on suspsicion of felony domestic battery with strangulation

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

Carson City

THURSDAY

At 10:56 p.m., Frank Crawford, 47, of Carson City was arrested on felony domestic battery with strangulation after deputies were stopped by a woman screaming for help at the 1300 block of Carson Street. At the same incident, a 50-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of violation of a suspended sentence. Bail for the man was set at $15,000 and bail for the woman was set at $1,000.

FRIDAY

At 12:18 p.m., Bryan Gaudette, 29, a transient was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, ex-felon failed to register and seat belt required after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Gordonia and Siskiyou drives. Bail was set at $2,675.

At 1:12 p.m., a 56-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of ex-felon failed to register after deputies received a tip about the man’s location near the 3400 block of Highway 50. Bail was set at $150.

At 5:10 p.m., a 22-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of contempt of court warrant after deputies observed a known warrant holder standing outside the Carson Street Jack’s Casino. Bail was set at $3,000.

At 8:26 p.m., a 19-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of contempt of court after deputies conducted a business check at the Carson Street Nugget Casino. Bail was set at $500.

At 10:41 p.m., a 32-year-old Reno man was arrested on suspicion of contempt of court after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Proctor Street and Plaza Drive. Bail was set at $1,000.

SATURDAY

At 12:45 a.m., a 37-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of violation of a suspended sentence and contempt of court after deputies responded to reports for a suspicious person around the Carson Street Max Casino. Bail was set at $4,000.

At 7:59 a.m., Cody Brown, 25, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of a dangerous drug without a prescription, possession of drug paraphernalia and DUI after deputies responded to reports of a possibly intoxicated driver at the College Parkway Maverick Gas Station. Bail was set at $7,000.

At 9:14 a.m., a 31-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery near the 2800 block of Kit Sierra Way. Bail was set at $3,000.

At 10:32 a.m., Alejandro Hernandez, 33, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony failure to support of maintain a child warrant after deputies initiated a traffic stop near the 1500 block of 5th Street. Bail was set at $2,500.

At 1:19 p.m., Steven Ferrari, 27, of Reno was arrested on suspicion of felony false identification to avoid persecution, conspiracy to commit possession of a vehicle and possession of drug paraphernalia after deputies initiated traffic stop near Fairview and Stanton. At the same incident, a 23-year-old Reno woman was arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, failure to comply and no valid driver’s license. Bail for Ferrari was set at $13,500 and bail for the woman was set at $3,218.

At 1:44 p.m., a 30-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of driver’s license suspended and no current proof of insurance after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Woodside and Siskiyou drives. Bail was set at $1,100.

At 3:26 p.m., Perris France, 21, of Dayton was arrested on suspicion of felony burglary warrant and contempt of court after deputies initiated a traffic stop near 5th and Curry Streets. Bail was set at $20,500.

At 3:39 p.m., Joshua Hayes, 28, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Carmine Street and Bunch Way. Bail was set at $2,500.

SUNDAY

At 12:04 a.m., a 50-year-old transient man was arrested on suspicion of DUI-drugs, failure to maintain a lane and driving on the wrong side of the highway after deputies responded to reports of a possibly intoxicated driver near I-580 and Fairview Drive. Bail was set at $1,540.

At 7:40 a.m., a 63-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery near the 100 block of Conestoga Drive. Bail was set at $3,000.

At 5:36 p.m., a 27-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of battery after deputies responded to reports of a patient attacking staff near Marlette Drive. Bail was set at $1,000.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes.
