62-year-old arrested on suspicion of felony burglary warrant, says Carson City Sheriff’s Office

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

FRIDAY

At 8:14 p.m., a 21-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of failure to appear after deputies conducted a warrant service near the 4000 block of Village Drive. Bail was set at $740.

At 5:09 p.m., Devin McMenamy, 18, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, expired registration and no insurance after deputies initiated a traffic stop near the 3800 block of N. Carson Street. At the same incident, an 18-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail for McMenamy was set at $3,150 and bail for the 18-year-old was set at $1,600.

At 9:02 p.m., Joseph Scott, 34, a transient, was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, expired registration, revoked license, no proof of insurance and contempt of court after deputies initiated a traffic stop near the 4300 block of S. Carson Street. Bail was set at $5,250.

At 11:13 p.m., a 19-year-old Minden man was arrested on suspicion of temporary protection order violation after deputies responded to a possible battery near the 100 block of Woodside Drive. Bail was set at $3,000.

SATURDAY

At 1:30 a.m., a 19-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of DUI, failure to maintain a lane, no valid driver’s license, possession of marijuana and minor consuming after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Sherman Lane and Dori Way. Bail was set at $1,890.

At 1:28 p.m., a 26-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of contempt of court after deputies initiated a traffic stop near the 1700 block of Roop Street. Bail was set at $1,000.

At 10:01 p.m., a 29-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery near the 4700 block of Conte Drive. Bail was set at $3,000.

SUNDAY

At 12:10 a.m., a 51-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of violation of a temporary protection order after deputies responded to reports of a man following a woman around the Carson Street Nugget Casino. Bail was set at $3,000.

At 11:52 a.m., Richard La Jocies, 30, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance and domestic battery after deputies responded to reports of a possible domestic battery near Stewart and John streets. At the same incident, a 27-year-old transient woman was arrested on suspicion of no valid driver’s license, possession of a dangerous drug without a prescription and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail for the woman was set at $3,600 and bail for the man was set at $5,500.

At 12:38 p.m., Franklin Trevino, 45, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony eluding with endangerment, failure to stop at a red light, failure to maintain a lane, violation of conditions warrant, possession of drug paraphernalia, revoked driver’s license, no proof of insurance and no proof of registration after deputies attempted to initiate a traffic stop near Saliman Road and 5th Street. Deputies detained Trevino after a brief vehicle chase near Fairview Drive on the bike path. Bail was set at $25,715.

At 1:58 p.m., a 25-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of battery after deputies responded to reports of a fight at the Carson Street Burger King. Bail was set at $1,000.

At 4:37 p.m., a 22-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of contempt of court after deputies conducted a warrant service near the 1000 block of Cascade Drive. Bail was set at $500.

At 5:44 p.m., a 53-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of contempt of court after deputies conducted a warrant service near the 1900 block of Long Street. Bail was set at $1,000.

At 11:39 p.m., Brian Malone, 34, of Sparks was arrested on suspicion of two counts of felony possession of a controlled substance, felony possession to imitate a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, suspended driver’s license, suspended registration, no insurance and a Lyon County warrant after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Plaza and 6th streets. Bail was set at $18,305.

MONDAY

At 1:35 a.m., a 31-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery near the 3400 block of Northgate Lane. Bail was set at $3,000.

At 9:55 a.m., Charles Dickey, 62, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony burglary warrant after deputies conducted a warrant service near the 1500 block of Old Hot Springs Road. No bail was set.

At 2:09 p.m., a 33-year-old Mound House man was arrested on suspicion of failure to appear after deputies responded to reports of an altercation at Mills Park. Bail was set at $175.

At 8:31 p.m., Michael Kever, 52, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Curry and Washington Streets. Bail was set at $3,500.

TUESDAY

At 3:23 a.m., a 48-year-old Waxhaw, N.C., man was arrested on suspicion of failure to appear after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Carson and Stewart streets. Bail was set at $635.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
