The Nevada Artists Association’s New Years Art Exhibit runs through Feb. 12 at its gallery located at Carson City’ Brewery Arts Center. Art is by local and regional NAA member artists. The show offers new as well as vintage pieces — most are one of a kind original works.
Rita McFadden, of Carson City, was awarded the People’s Choice award from the just closed Nevada Day Exhibit. The public voted her painting, “Silent Flight,” an oil, as the favorite over 144 pieces that were exhibited in the Nevada Day Show.
The NAA Gallery is located at the BAC, 149 West King St. It’s open Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
