Carson City Sheriff’s Office: Two arrested on suspicion of possession of controlled substance for sale, maintaining a drug house

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.


FRIDAY

At 7:24 a.m., Kyle Fuller, 34, was arrested on suspicion of felony burglary, felony attempted vehicle burglary, felony battery on a peace officer and resisting a peace officer after deputies responded to reports of a suspicious subject at the N. Carson Street AM/PM gas station. Fuller was taken to Carson Tahoe Hospital to be medically cleared by staff where he was allegedly combative with officers. Bail was set at $60,300.

At 9:42 a.m., Casey Clifton, 39, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance after deputies responded to reports of a possible domestic battery near the 1900 block of Marian Way. Bail was set at $2,500.

At 3:22 p.m., a 54-year-old Long Beach, Calif., man was arrested on suspicion of petit larceny after deputies responded to reports of a man taking alcohol from the William Street Smith’s. Bail was set at $250.

At 6:10 p.m., Megan Haffey, 28, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, felony ex-felon in possession of a firearm, felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, felony maintaining a drug house, possession of drug paraphernalia, no valid driver’s license, no proof of insurance, no front license plate, violation of bail conditions and seat belt requirement after deputies initiated a traffic stop near the 500 block of Richmond Avenue. Also at the incident, Stephanie Troklus, 24, of Palmdale, Calif., was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, felony ex-felon in possession of a firearm, felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia and seat belt requirement. Bail for Haffey was set at $52,250 and bail for Troklus was set at $28,525.

SATURDAY

At 12:46 a.m., a 50-year-old Dayton woman was arrested on suspicion of civil protective custody after deputies responded to reports of an intoxicated subject at the Carson Tahoe Hospital. No bail was set.

At 12:35 p.m., a 22-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of alternative sentencing violation, resisting a public officer, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after deputies responded to reports of a man violating his probation near the Winnie Lane Salvation Army. Bail was set at $4,550.

At 6:57 p.m., a 44-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of violation of court monitored supervision, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana after deputies responded to reports of an intoxicated man laying in the road near the 3000 block of Lompa Lane. Bail was set at $2,100.

SUNDAY

At 3:32 a.m., a 50-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery near the Carson Street Nugget Casino. Bail was set at $3,000.

MONDAY

At 3:58 p.m., Derek Melino, 30, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony burglary, felony preventing a victim from reporting a crime and domestic battery after deputies responded to reports of a domestic battery near the 4000 block of Village Drive. Bail was set at $28,000.

At 9:30 p.m., Joseph Crump, 36, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony child abuse, felony felon in possession of a stun gun, domestic battery and ex-felon failed to register after deputies responded to reports of Crump allegedly hitting a five-year-old near the 1400 block of N. Carson Street. Bail was set at $63,150.

At 11 p.m., a 27-year-old Dayton man was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery and battery after deputies responded to reports of a fight near the 3200 block of Imperial Way. The man was arrested near Highway 50 and State Park in Lyon County. Bail was set at $4,000.

TUESDAY

At 1:20 a.m., a 24-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI after deputies responded to reports of an intoxicated driver near Rand Avenue and William Street. Bail was set at $1,000.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
