The Smith Valley Historical Society will hold an open house and ice cream social from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 9 at the Little Red School House on Highway 208 in Wellington.
Besides ice cream and other treats, the event offers a new exhibit and updates on the society’s Square Foot Archive Building fundraiser and the relocation of its Wells Fargo Stage office.
