Nevada Division of Public and Behavioral Health seeking input about medical standards

The Division of Public and Behavioral Health is looking for public input to help develop Crisis Standards of Care guidance for the state of Nevada.

The division said Crisis Standards of Care would help ensure consistent healthcare across the state during a catastrophic disaster. The standards help healthcare professionals decide how to provide the best possible medical care when resources are limited.

Workshops to hear input are from 1 to 3 p.m. April 15 in the Ormsby Room of the Carson City Sheriff’s Office, 911 E. Musser St.; and from 3 to 5 p.m. May 12 in the Grandview dining room of the Douglas County Senior and Community Center, 1329 Waterloo Lane, Gardnerville.
