The society event of the season!

Tomorrow evening is our Murder Mystery Dinner, and I hope you are ready to be entertained, energized and excited. We have terrific talent, totally tasty temptations and tremendous treachery. If you haven’t gotten your tickets, do so immediately! You don’t want to miss all of the fun. The doors will open at the Fallon Convention Center at 5:30, and dinner will be served at 6:00. There will be a no-host bar for adult beverages.

You will be treated to fine food, a puzzling mystery and excellent acting. Fallon Lions Club will be catering the event. We also will have a live auction for all the lovely treasures you will want to take home.

If you would like to contribute to the CAPS coffers, we will have donation jars at each table to accommodate you. Come to be thrilled, tempted and titillated!

Watson here, I just want to remind you that October is Adopt a Pit Bull month. My best friend is Brad Pitt, who is a regular at the dog park. We have fun chomping on each other and playing. He acts all tough, but he’s a cream puff at heart. I like him because he’s loyal, fun and loves his dad. Brad is only one of the pit bulls who come to our dog park. If you have ever thought of adopting a pit bull, now is the time. They are great buddies.

XOXO Watson

ACTORS EXTRODINARY

Michael Peters returns as Sherlock Hounds to reprise his role in last year’s CAPS Murder Mystery. He has been active in community theater for the last 20 years, Michael starred as Harold Hill in “The Music Man,” a WNCC production. Recently he appeared as Herr Schultz in “Cabaret” and Sydney Bruhl in “Deathtrap.” He’s delighted to be married to the beautiful real-life cat lady, Diane.

Ashlee McGarity will be making her first ever onstage appearance in this year’s CAPS mystery as Sandy Garfield. Ashlee is a wife and mother who is a sucker for anything cute and cuddly. She parents a small herd of rescue critters who absolutely adore her.

David Doll has performed in CAPS’ mysteries before. He co-directed (along with the rest of the cast) the productions he has been in. He enjoys theater and has designed and helped with set construction for local theater productions. David really is a Doll for volunteering his time!

SHOUT OUT TO

Gayle and Malone who donated dog houses and new outside kennels to CAPS. These two people donate their time, love and resources to help CAPS run smoothly. A Four Paws Salute to you.

LOOKING FOR A HOME

Long and lean Vito is an 18-month-old pointer mix. He is so beautiful with black-and-white spots. The really cool thing about Vito is he has one black leg. Vito is an attractive, friendly boy who is looking for a soulmate. Gosh, it would absolutely thrill him to have a friend who would take him for a walk and enjoy his company.
