Galen Ted Sammaripa

Galen Ted Sammaripa, Born March 2, 1970, passed away October 7, 2016.

Galen was a life long resident of Fallon, Nevada, and loved calling Fallon his home. Galen worked for UXB, and Roger Lambert construction prior

to joining the City of Fallon where he worked for 27 years.

Galen was an avid sportsman and loved the outdoors. Galen loved hunting, fishing, trap shooting, camping, and jumping in his truck to take a ride anywhere out in the Nevada mountains. Galen loved spending time with his family and friends and was always happy to sit and visit with everyone he knew.

He is preceded in death by his father Raymond Sammaripa.

He is survived by his two sons, Derek and Cameron Sammaripa; his parents Rick and Cathy Capucci and Joan Sammaripa; brothers Allen Moyle and Bo Sammaripa; sisters Denea Moyle-Zulz, Rochanne Downs, Yvonne Mori and Jossie Sammaripa-Dick; uncle Irwin Miller and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A celebration of Galen’s life will be held Saturday, October 15, 2016 at the Gardens Funeral Home. Viewing will be at 9:30 am with memorial services to begin at 11:00 am.

Immediately following the services, the family welcomes everyone to join them in celebrating this beautiful soul with a smile and a potluck meal at the Fallon Tribal Gym, 8955 Mission Rd.
