A ‘Sweet’ ride

The planets aligned for Marian Shores Furnari on Sept. 11, when she converted her winning ticket into a 40-minute flight on Executive Sweet, a World War II B-25 medium bomber. After her flight Marion said, “My Dad was a flight engineer on a B-24 Liberator during World War II. Today, I experienced the same cramped conditions he did. Now, I have a better understanding of what Dad experienced flying missions in Burma and India.”
