The Office of Suicide Prevention, the Nevada Coalition on Suicide Prevention, and the National Alliance on Mental Illness are sponsoring a free course on firearm safety.
The course will be from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, April 22, at the Ormsby Room of the Carson City Sheriff’s Office, 911 W. Musser St.
Six types of gun locks will be available to those who attend.
