The Lady Wave lost to Dayton’s Lady Dust Devils in three sets Monday.

The final scores were close the entire match — 25-20, 25-19 and 25-17.

Fallon’s Macie Anderson led in kills for the Lady Wave, hitting 10. Dayton also had strong kills with Brianda Diaz leading with 17, Ashley Mason had six and Marissa Hein, five.

Lorynn Fagg was a strong server for Fallon with five aces. Anderson and Jordan Beyer were also strong defensively, both allotting three blocks.

Fallon coach Pattie Daum said it was an emotional match for Fallon and noted they fell apart on defense.

Tonight the Lady Wave plays Fernley at home with the varsity team beginning at 6 p.m. Daum said she expects they will need to stay competitive every moment of the match.
