February 21, 1945 ~ August 8, 2018



Loving father, and grandfather, 73 of Fallon, passed away peacefully on August 8, 2018 after a yearlong battle with cancer surrounded by his children.


Dan was born to Helen and Dick Whooley, in Billings, MT on February 21, 1945. He graduated from Billings Central Catholic High School in 1963. After which he furthered his

education at Montana State University in Bozeman for 2 years before moving to Tucson to be with his future wife, and mother of his children, Norma Vice (Hill). Throughout his life he worked in finance and real estate and retired in 2010 at the age of 65.


Dan moved to Fallon Nevada in 1974 with Norma and thier 3 children, he enjoyed playing golf, pool, darts, and bowling with great friends of the community. As an outdoorsman, weekends were spent taking his children to Lake Lahontan and camping in such beautiful places as Lake Almanor, CA.


He was preceded in death by his father, Dick; his older brother Richard; and his mother, Helen.


He leaves behind his sister, Margaret Heinselman of Spokane; his children, Dave Whooley of Fallon, Lisa Kramer of Richland, WA, and Mike Whooley of West Richland, WA; and 6 grandchildren.


Services to be held at The Gardens Funeral Home, 2949 Austin Hwy, Fallon, NV on September 15, 2018 at 3pm.


In lieu of flowers please enjoy a game of golf and dedicate it to Dan Whooley while sipping on a Whooley Cooler.
