The USDA Rural Development program is accepting applications for Community Connect grants.
The program helps rural communities extend and expand broadband service.
Nevada Director Phil Cowee said the program provides broadband access in a community center setting in areas otherwise without high-speed internet.
To be eligible, the area must have broadband speeds of less than 10 megabytes per second download and on Mbps upload.
