Mexican Ditch Trail closed for safety improvements

Beginning Thursday, the Mexican Ditch Trail will be temporarily closed in the vicinity of the Mexican Dam for the installation of safety improvements.

Users traveling south on the Mexican Ditch Trail from Carson River Park or Silver Saddle Ranch are asked to watch for construction vehicles using the trail to access the construction site. Access from the Mexican Dam Open Space will also be temporarily closed. The improvements are expected to be completed by Dec. 31.
