Man at diner at 2 a.m. was drunk, Carson City Sheriff’s Office says

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.

TUESDAY

At 3:23 p.m., a 54-year-old man was arrested on a trespassing charge after returning to Evergreen Center on Carson Street despite being trespassed from the property the day before. Bail was set at $150.

THURSDAY

At 1:17 a.m., a 30-year-old Tesla employee was charged with DUI 1st alcohol after a deputy stopped him on Highway 50 west of Carson Street for driving 76 mph in a 50 mph zone. He was also charged with failure to obey a peace officer for not pulling over immediately. Bail was set at $1,560.

At 2:09 a.m., a 65-year-old was charged with DUI 1st alcohol after a caller reported him smelling of alcohol and stumbling into furniture at Denny’s. Bail was set at $1,000.

At 8:58 a.m., a 36-year-old artist was arrested on an outstanding warrant after a traffic stop on South Carson Street. Bail was set at $215.

At 3:29 p.m., Jason Williams, 38, was arrested at Carson and Snyder streets on a warrant charging assault with a deadly weapon. Bail was set at $50,000.
