Carson City Water Utility Manager Eddy Quaglieri will be the guest speaker at the next Rotary Club of Carson City meeting on Tuesday, July 13th. The meeting takes place in the Grand Ballroom at the Brewery Arts Center at 12:30 P.M. The public is invited to attend.

The presentation will cover Carson’s City Water System, a snapshot at groundwater levels, yearly and maximum daily water demands and buildout projects.
Eddy Quaglieri worked for over a decade in the private sector on projects involving the design and construction of water/wastewater treatment and distribution design and contruction. He has served with the state as the Water Engineer at the Public Utilities Commission of Nevada and as the Engineering Manager for the Nevada Division of Water Resources. Quaglieri joined the city in the role of Water Utility Manager in 2018.

Club President Richard Perry hopes nonmembers will take the opportunity to attend. “Our water supply is one of our most important resources. As our city continues to grow, it’s important that we understand how to protect it and conserve it when necessary”.

Anyone interested in attending should contact Peter Fishburn at pfishburn@charter.net. To learn more about the Rotary Club of Carson City visit www.carsonrotary.org
