Carson High boys’ soccer had four players honored on the Class 5A North’s all-region teams released last week.
Leading the way for the Senators was sophomore goalkeeper Rene Gonzalez, who was named Goalkeeper of the Year in the region.
Gonzalez quickly became a staple in the final line of defense for Carson, proving capable of making difficult saves with little reaction time.
Along with Gonzalez, Christopher Camacho was named a first team all-region defender for Carson.
Camacho, a senior, scored three times for the Senators this season while tacking on two assists over the course of the season.
