PUBLIC INFORMATION ON A FORMAL
AMENDMENT TO THE CARSON AREA
METROPOLITAN PLANNING ORGANIZATION
(CAMPO) TRANSPORTATION
IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (TIP)
The proposed amendment is to program
additional funding for a project in the Carson
Area Metropolitan Planning Organization’s
(CAMPO) Federal Fiscal Years 2021-2024
Transportation Improvement Program (TIP).
$655,000 in local funding is being programmed
into the Colorado Street Corridor
Project, increasing the total to $3,095,512
from $2,440,512. Funding will be used for
utility and roadway improvements. Additional

The TIP is a four-year programming document
for projects that are federally funded
and are of regional significance within the
metropolitan planning area. The minimum
14-day public comment period, for review of
the proposed TIP amendment, opened on
September 25, 2021 and closes on October
9, 2021. Staff is available Monday through
Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. to
meet with the public and to answer any questions
regarding the TIP. Public comments are
encouraged during this time.
