The Lady Bighorns softball team dominated Mineral County, 17-3, last Thursday in Hawthorne to sweep the season series.
Oasis Academy (11-2), which has outscored the opposition 51-3 during its three-game winning streak, traveled to Smith Valley (10-3) on Tuesday.
The Bighorns scored in all but the fourth inning of the mercy rule win over the Serpents last week. Oasis Academy led 12-0 before Mineral County got on the board with a run in the fourth.
Seniors Rachel Bake and Kaitlyn Hert, and freshman Kisten Detomasi led the team with two hits and a combined eight RBIs. Bake drove in four, Detomasi had three and Hert singled in one.
Freshmen Kaylin Guthrie and Taylynn Maynez each drove in two on one hit apiece with Maynez recording a double.
Detomasi lowered her ERA to 4.20 on the season after going five innings with seven strikeouts.
