The Greenwave boys golf team resumed play last week, hosting one league tournament before traveling to Winnemucca the next day.
Fallon finished sixth out of seven teams in last Tuesday’s tournament at the Fallon Golf Course. Elko won the event with a 367 cumulative score over Truckee, which finished with 368. Fallon carded 412 as a team.
Truckee’s Gabe Smith was the low medalist after finishing with an 82.
Ron Lee led Fallon with a 100 as no golfer was able to break into double-digits. Drake Reid finished second on the team with a 102 followed by Colton Tousignant with a 104 and Owen Palmer at a 106. Daniel Lords finished with a 114 and Kyan Sorensen had a 124.
Fallon also finished sixth the next day in Winnemucca, carding an overall score of 433.
Truckee won the tournament with a 361 while Fernley came in second at 383. Low-medalist honors went to Smith, who had an 84.
For Fallon, Lee finished with a 95 followed by Reid with a 107. Palmer was third on the team with a 115, Lords finished with a 116 and Tousignant rounded out the scorers with a 118. Matthias Loop finished with a 129.
