The eighth annual de Golyer Bucking Horse and Bull Bash didn’t disappoint.

More than 100 contestants from Nevada, California and Oregon invaded the valley as 4,000 spectators flocked to the Fairview Arena of the 3C Complex at the Churchill County Fairgrounds on June 25.

“The show went great. There was a huge turnout, spectators-wise and contestants,” Cody de Golyer said. “It was the largest crowd to sit in our stands.”

The sellout event featured nine events with bull riding capping the evening just before midnight.

Cody and Cindy de Golyer said they are already looking forward to making next year better.

“The new setup of the arena didn't go as planned for our stock once night time hit, but everything is in the works to make 2023 an even better performance,” said Cody de Golyer. “Spectators stayed in the stands until the last bull was bucked.”
