Carson High football put a number of players on the all-region teams released over the weekend.

Senior Isaac Avina returned to the all-region team for the second year in a row, picking up multiple selections and a handful of different positions.

Avina was selected as a first team punter, second team kicker and second team defensive back.

The kicking specialist averaged over 40 yards per punt on 34 punts this season for the Senators while going 4-for-6 on field goals.

Avina’s season long field goal came from 51 yards out.

At corner, Avina showed a fearlessness uncommon in most kickers, racking up 59 tackles this season.

Joining Avina with a second team selection on offense was senior center Logan Harvey.

Roman Gantt joined Avina on the second team defense, earning all-region honors at defensive tackle.

Gantt had 15 tackles and five tackles for loss this season for the Senators.

Other offensive weapons were littered on the honorable mention team for Carson.

Marcus Montes (RB), Parker Story (WR/ATH), DeCarlo Quintna (WR), Mack Chambers (TE), Gantt (Guard) and Sam Richetta (tackle) all were selected to the all-region offensive list at honorable mention.

On defense, Odin Riley (DE), Kincaid Gill (LB), JT Heaton (LB) and Story (DB) were the four Carson High representatives on defense on the honorable mention team.
