On Monday, December 4, 2023, A heavy concrete pouring project is planned between 5 a.m. and 2 p.m. Monday as part of the Rolling A Wastewater Treatment Plant Phase Four expansion project in Dayton. During this period, heavy concrete truck traffic is expected in the Riverview neighborhood area, with up to 10 trucks expected every hour. The planned truck route is to access the plant from U.S. 50 and Fort Churchill Road and through River Park Parkway to Ferretto Parkway. In the event that trucks are backed up in the plant, they will be staged on the adjacent dirt road north of Fort Churchill Road.

The project contractor has planned flaggers at critical road crossings to manage truck traffic. The trucks are not allowed to stop or park in the neighborhood roads or parking areas and will not drive in front of Riverview Elementary School.

During the project, travelers should anticipate delays in the area and plan accordingly. Lyon County appreciates the community's patience and developed a digital map to view the planned truck route and staging area.

Construction on the Rolling A Wastewater Treatment Plant Phase Four expansion project began in October and will continue for the next two years.
