The Fallon all-star baseball teams were in action last weekend at the Cal Ripken state tournament at North Valleys Regional Park in Reno.

Two of the four teams were able to extend their all-star season into July when Fallon won the championship over Silver State in the 10U division and Spanish Springs in the 11U division. Fallon’s 12U team, which went undefeated in pool play, wasn’t able to defeat Spanish Springs in the title game. Fallon’s 9U team also lost to Spanish Springs in the championship.

Teams competed in round-robin play Thursday through Saturday before Sunday’s single-elimination round.

Next up for Fallon’s 10U and 11U teams is the Pacific Southwest Regional Tournament from July 17-22. The region includes teams from Nevada, California, Utah, Arizona, Hawaii and Guam.

The 10U tournament will be played in Taylorsville, Utah, while the 11U tournament will be played at Fallon’s Oats Park. This marks the third consecutive year that Fallon will host a regional after the prep tournament was played at the high school in 2021 followed by last year’s 12U tournament at Oats Park.
