Tickets remain for this year’s Lincoln Day dinner March 18, which will feature U.S. Rep. Mark Amodei as the keynote speaker.

Gary Smith, chairman of the Churchill County Republican Central Committee, said he must notify the caterers by March 14 with a headcount. Tickets are available on Eventbrite: www.eventbrite.com/e/2023-churchill-county-lincoln-day-dinner-tickets-534637955517.

The evening also will have a silent auction.

Smith said the CCRCC is honored to have Amodei as guest speaker. Amodei, who represents Congressional District 2 in Northern Nevada, has served in the House of Representatives since 2011.

The Carson City native said last week he will run for another term to the House of Representatives instead of seeking the U.S. Senate seat currently held by U.S. Sen. Jacky Rosen.

Amodei, along with Rosen and Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto, led the efforts in Congress to pass the 2023 National Defense Authorization Act that included the expansion and modernization for the Fallon Range Training Complex.

Gov. Joe Lombardo, who was elected in November, also will attend this year’s Lincoln Day Dinner. In addition to the announced state office holders, Smith said local Republicans will be in attendance.

Lt. Gov. Stavros Anthony and state Controller Andy Mathews also will attend.
