Audrey II has taken over the high school theatre and is hungry for more. More audience members, that is, so she can have her fill of … performing, of course. What else could it be?

Churchill County High School Theatre presents “Little Shop of Horrors” in association with Performing Arts of Churchill County and directed by Ashley Adams.

Three performances remain this weekend beginning with a matinee at 4 p.m. on Thursday. Friday and Saturday evening shows begin at 7 p.m. with all performances located at the Greenwave Theatre, 1 Greenwave Circle in Fallon.

Tickets are $10 for general admission, $7 for CCHS staff and students and may be purchased at www.our.show/fallon or at the door.

Parental guidance is recommended due to some swearing, an abusive relationship, gun threat, drug references and some gruesome elements in the show.

From the play synopsis: During a sudden eclipse of the sun, Seymour Krelborn finds a strange and interesting new plant that brings in customers and saves his run-down, skid-row florist shop from closing. But the strangest thing about his plant is that it eats blood and likes human blood the best!

As it grows, so does Seymour’s success. When he becomes anemic and can’t feed it with his own blood any longer, the plant encourages strange and interesting new paths for Seymour to keep feeding it until Seymour loses himself and the plant outgrows him.

Donations for the Sara Swenson Memorial Performing Arts Scholarship will be collected at intermission and refreshments will be available for purchase in the lobby.
