CCSO: 36-year-old charged with sexual assault of minor

A 36-year-old man has been charged with sexual assault of a minor, according to a Carson City Sheriff’s Office news release.

On Sunday, Nov. 26, CCSO detectives arrested Kevin Mullen, 36, for Sexual Assault of a Minor Under 14, the release said. As of Thursday, Nov. 30, Mullen had been charged with:

• Sexual Assault of a Minor Under 14 (bail set at $250,000);

• False Statement to Obstruct Officer;

• Preventing/Dissuading a Victim from Testifying (bail set at $2,000);

• Parole and Probation Violation (no bail).
