Thank you to everyone who joined us for last weekend's Addams Family theatre takeover and a big thank you to our special sponsor Huck Salt.

Also a big day is Oct. 14 as we host our seventh annual Show n' Shine as we close down Maine Street for the day from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Come enjoy this great event and view some terrific cars and trucks.

We do have movies again this weekend and they are free. Playing Friday and Saturday at 6 p.m. is the 2016 animated comedy adventure “Trolls.” After the Bergens invade Troll Village, Poppy, the happiest Troll ever born and the overly-cautious, curmudgeonly Branch set off on a journey to rescue their friends. Their mission is full of adventure and mishaps, as this mismatched duo try to tolerate each other long enough to get the job done.

Voices provided by Anna Kendrick, Justin Timberlake, Walt Dohrn and Zooey Deschanel.

Our second feature each evening, playing at 7 p.m. is the 1984 sci-fi/action film “The Terminator.” Disguised as a human, a cyborg assassin known as a Terminator travels from 2029 to 1984 to kill Sarah Connor. Sent to protect Sarah is Kyle, who divulges the coming of Skynet, an artificial intelligence system that will spark a nuclear holocaust. Sarah is targeted because Skynet knows that her unborn son will lead the fight against them. With the virtually unstoppable Terminator in hot pursuit, she and Kyle attempt to escape.

Starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Linda Hamilton and Michael Biehn.

Mark your calendars for Oct. 13 as the Carson City-based band Keith Alan Barnett and The Lonesome Polecats takes our stage for the first time playing a great brand of ‘70s western music plus current country and rock with many original songs.

The concert starts at 7 p.m., and tickets are $15 at the door. Then later that evening join us for Live Stand Up Comedy - Fallon Halloween high jinks with three great comedians taking our stage. Tickets are $20 in advance at brianleecomedy.ticketleap.com, $25 day of the show.
