We have a great lineup of entertainment for you this weekend.

On Saturday night, Sept. 23, we bring to our historic stage the Reno-based Americana band Bourgeois Gypsies. This great band has been together for over 15 years playing their great brand of music that makes you tap your feet, clutch your heart and shake your head all at the same time! Concert starts at 7 p.m. and tickets are only $10.

Yes, we do have movies this weekend too and they are free. Playing both Friday, Sept. 22 and Saturday, Sept. 23 at 6 p.m. is the 2010 animated comedy, “Megamind.” Though he is the most brilliant supervillain the world has known, Megamind is the least successful. Thwarted time and again by heroic Metro Man, Megamind is more surprised than anyone when he actually manages to defeat his longtime enemy. But without Metro Man, Megamind has no purpose in life, so he creates a new opponent, who quickly decides that it's more fun to be a bad guy than a hero.

Voices provided by Will Ferrell, Brad Pitt, Tina Fey and Jonah Hill.

Our second feature, playing only Friday, Sept. 22, at 7 p.m. is the 1940 screwball comedy “His Girl Friday.” When a hard charging New York newspaper editor discovers that his ex-wife, an investigative reporter, has gotten engaged to a milquetoast insurance agent, he tries to lure her away from the tame domestic life with a story about the impending execution of a convicted murderer. But when she discovers that he may be innocent, her reporter instincts take over.

Starring Cary Grant, Rosalind Rulless and Ralph Bellamy.

Mark your calendars for the last weekend of September as the Addams Family takes over our theatre! This is a fully-immersive event, and the theatre will be decorated like the Addams Family Mansion and all the characters will be there — Mortica, Gomez, Wednesday, Pugsley, Grandmama, Uncle Fester, Lurch, Cousin Itt and Thing. Also souvenir cups for kids and adults, popcorn bar, costume contest both evenings & more. A big thank you to our event sponsor Huck Salt for making this possible, bringing this great event to you free of charge.
