A missing Lyon County child was reunited with his mother this week after the U.S. Marshals Service solved a parental abduction investigation.

Davon Townsell was arrested an outstanding Contempt of Court warrant issued by the Lyon County, Third Judicial District Court.

On Jan. 16, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) began a parental abduction investigation against Townsell.

Investigation by LCSO detectives and the USMS in Reno, revealed that Townsell had taken his child to the Atlanta area.

With the assistance of the USMS in Atlanta, the missing child was recovered without incident.
