Arrest made in burglary investigation

The Carson City Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday thanked the public for their assistance in identifying two suspects involved in a series of burglaries that occurred March 2-9 in the 1800 block of E. William Street.

“The Carson City Sheriff’s Office Investigations Division arrested one of the two suspects. Charges for the second suspect will be submitted to the Carson City District Attorney’s Office,” CCSO said in a news release.

Bradlee Morris from Yerington was identified and arrested on March 23, according to CCSO.

Morris was booked into the Carson City Jail on the following charges: commercial burglary, vehicle burglary, attempted commercial burglary, possession of stolen property (firearm), obstructing/resisting a public officer, grand larceny and three outside agency felony warrants.

Morris is being held on $25,000 bail along with a no-bail hold related to one of the felony warrants, CCSO said.
