CCSO arrests second suspect in kidnapping attempt

In its continuing investigation into a kidnapping attempt on Feb. 8, the Carson City Sheriff’s Office developed probable cause to arrest and charge Richard Henley. An arrest warrant was issued for Henley for the following charges:

• Attempted Kidnapping, First Degree.

• Battery with the Use of a Deadly Weapon.

• Assault with a Deadly Weapon.

• Burglary while in Possession of a Firearm or Deadly Weapon.

• Impersonating a Public Officer.

The Carson City Sheriff’s Office Special Enforcement Team arrested Henley on April 11, without incident. He is being held at the Carson City Sheriff’s Office on $50,000 bail.
