The Fallon Theatre will show three movies April 26 and 27. First, Encanto will be shown once on Friday at 6 p.m. for free. The Goonies will be shown Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. for free. Tahoe Joe II will be shown once on Saturday at 6 p.m. and there will be a charge for this movie. We thank the Churchill County Social Services and Pinwheels for Prevention for sponsoring the movie Encanto. A Disney classic tells the tale of the Madrigals, an extraordinary family living in a magical house in the Colombian mountains. But when Mirabel, the only ordinary family member, discovers the magic surrounding their home is in danger, she may be her family's last hope.

A childhood classic from the 1980s, The Goonies is about two brothers who find out they might lose their house and they are desperate to find a way to keep their home. They find a treasure map and bring some friends along to find it. They are all out looking for the "X" and trying to escape a group of bad guys who also want the treasure.

Tahoe Joe II is a sequel to the 2022 film Tahoe Joe, which features some local cast and crew. This movie is about a popular social media influencer who goes missing in the Tahoe National Forest. Filmmakers Michael Rock and Dillon Brown set out on a rescue mission but get more than they bargained for when returning to the famous hunting grounds of Tahoe Joe.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $7 for children 12 and under, and active military.
