Laura Hale has created a false narrative regarding President Trump. NATO members agreed in 2006 to devote 2 percent of their GDP to defense spending.

They reaffirmed their commitment to the "2 percent" in 2014. Today, only 18 of the 31 NATO members have met this goal. (https://www.cbc.ca/news/world/nato-members-military-spending-1.7114701.) The unpaid debt is for the multiple decades in which the United States sacrificed billions for the defense of Europe. Europe enjoys the fruits of the American defense umbrella by creating their social welfare state.

She possibly cites an article from USA Today dated June 9, 2016, stating, “Hundreds allege... pay his bills.” The terms "alleged" and "proven" are two different standards under contract law. How many of these complaints are against subcontractors versus the Trump Corporation?

Innuendo may serve to assuage your lack of research but does not represent proof. How many failed to meet the standards required by their contract? Do you automatically pay when a mechanic fails to perform, or do you challenge it?

The U.S. trade balance for 2021 was $861.71 billion, a 37.32 percent increase from 2020. The trade deficit in 2022 was nearly $1 trillion, or an increase of 12.2 percent.

The 2021 and 2022 trade deficits increased by 49 percent. The claim that average American home prices rose by 27.5 percent is based on the fact that mortgage payments on a new home rose by 90 percent under the current administration.

Laura, if you are cherry-picking numbers, please use the entire orchard instead of one tree.
