‘Artistry in Motion’ in Carson City on March 30

Nevada Dance Co., will unveil the return of its spring performance series, Artistry in Motion, with shows at 7 p.m. Friday, March 29 at Reno Little Theatre and 6 p.m. Saturday, March 30 at the Brewery Arts Center in Carson City.

Artistry in Motion will feature a diverse repertoire of ballet works. Highlights include:

• The third act of Don Quixote, choreographed by Petipa

• A world premiere performance of Dance of the Macabre, choreographed by Oliver Adams

• Classical selections, including Gershwin, brought to life through the choreography of Adams

• Contemporary masterpiece, As Time Goes By, originally crafted for the Sacramento Ballet Co., by Alexander Cain Biber

Nevada Dance Co.'s artistic directors Erica-Chipp Adams and Oliver Adams will grace the stage alongside professional dancers Biber, Gretchen LaWall, and Kelsey Gerber alongside nine young dancers from Nevada Dance Co.'s pre-professional company.
