Johnnie Lee Hill Jr., 18, died in a single-vehicle rollover accident in Stagecoach on Friday evening, according to the Lyon County Sheriff's Department.

Hill was driving southbound in an orange 1971 Ford pickup truck on Cheyenne Drive at 8:30 p.m. He failed to maneuver a turn and the truck rolled several times before coming to a stop, said Corp. Vince Giron, Lyon County Sheriff's Department.

A passenger, a 23-year-old male, was treated and released while at the accident scene and two female juveniles, ages 14 and 15, were transported by Care Flight to Washoe Medical Center for additional medical attention, according to Giron.

The passengers' names had not been released late Saturday and their conditions were unknown.

Giron said no one in the truck was wearing a seat belt and that the vehicle was traveling above the 25-mph speed limit in the areas where the accident occurred.

It's unknown if alcohol was involved in the accident, which is under investigation, Giron added.
