A funeral for Jeanne Gustafson, 82, a Parker, Colo., resident for the past eight years, was held Tuesday at the Joy Lutheran Church in Parker with Pastor Dave Fisher officiating.
Mrs. Gustafson died March 1, 2002, at the Hospice of Metro Denver in Aurora, Colo. She was born June 12, 1920, in Bloomfield, Ky., to James R. and Margaret Howell Chesser.
She married Fridolf Alexius Gustafson in 1949 in Chicago. He preceded her in death in January 1982.
Mrs. Gustafson worked as a receptionist for Harrah's Casino at Lake Tahoe. She was a member of Joy Lutheran Church, PEO and the Parker Senior Center. She was very involved with her church.
Among her survivors are her son and daughter-in-law Fred and Jackie Gustafson of Parker and granddaughters Brianne and Jenni.
Memorial contributions may be made to Joy Lutheran Church, 7051 E. Parker Road, Parker CO 80134 or to Hospice of Metro Denver, 425 S. Cherry St., Ste. 700, Denver, CO 80222.
Burial will be at Lone Mountain Cemetery.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
