The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in court:


-- A 36-year-old construction worker from Carson City was arrested at 12:50 p.m. Wednesday in the 2400 block of North Carson Street for suspicion of misdemeanor obstructing, ex-felon failure to change address and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bail was set at $1,695.


-- A 20-year-old U.S. Marine from Carson City was arrested at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Long and Mountain streets for suspicion of misdemeanor possession of stolen property. He was allegedly driving a vehicle with a stolen license plate. His bail was set at $1,105.


-- Timothy Roy Lay, 24, unemployed from Carson City, was arrested at 7:15 p.m. Wednesday in the 1000 block of North Saliman Road for suspicion of felony probation violation and the following misdemeanors: reckless driving, no license, obstructing and battery. No bail was set.


-- E. Escobar-Rodriguez, 38, a laborer from Carson City, was arrested at 5 a.m. Thursday in the 1800 block of Long Street for suspicion of felony possession of 1 ounce of marijuana and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $1,810.


-- A 25-year-old plumber from Carson City was arrested at 10:36 p.m. Wednesday on Highway 50 East for suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving and speeding. His bail was set at $1,150.


-- A 35-year-old warehouse worker from Carson City was arrested at 9:45 p.m. Wednesday on Highway 50 East and Kit Kat Road for suspicion of misdemeanor driving under the influence of drugs, no tail lamp and unlawful acts of financial responsibility. His bail was set at $1,850.


-- Edna June Simpson, 74, retired from Carson City, was arrested at 6:17 p.m. Wednesday in the 3200 block of Old U.S. 395 for suspicion of felony grand larceny and the following misdemeanors: drunken driving, failure to maintain lane and expired plates. Her bail was set at $31,215.


-- Phillip Green, 28, unemployed from Reno, was arrested at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 800 block of East Musser Street for suspicion of felony uttering a forged instrument. His bail was set at $7,500.


-- Erica Crandall, 47, an auditor from Carson City, was arrested at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 1100 block of East Long Street for suspicion of felony probation violation. No bail was set.
