The following people were taken into custody at the Carson City Jail. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.


-- Sidney Robert Gorley , 25, a transient painter, was arrested at 11:44 a.m. Friday in the 2000 block of North Carson Street for the investigation of possession of stolen property. Bail was set at $25,000.


-- Jennifer Gonzales, 29, of Carson City, no occupation noted, was arrested at 10:23 a.m. Friday in the 1500 block of College Parkway on warrants out of Dayton Township Justice Court for the investigation of writing nonsufficient funds checks and failure to appear on a traffic citation. Bail was set at $1,330.


-- Thomas James Thornhill, 24, of Carson City, unemployed, was arrested at 5 p.m. Friday in the 300 block of Corbett Street for the investigation of uttering forged instruments, contempt of court, failure to appear after admission to bail, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting a public officer. Bail was set at $10,690.


-- Troy Steven Manies, 26, of Carson City, unemployed, was arrested at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Carson City Jail on warrants out of Carson City Justice Court for the investigation of two counts of felony failure to appear after admission to bail, and criminal contempt. Bail was set at $8,600.


-- Ramesh Pattappa, 30, of Cupertino, Calif., was arrested at 11:05 p.m. Friday at the Carson City Jail on a warrant out of Carson City Justice Court for the investigation of obtaining property under false pretenses. Bail was set at $25,000.
