A graveside service for Erna Selma Muench, 87, a Carson City resident for the past 33 years, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Lone Mountain Cemetery. Mrs. Muench died Aug. 23, 2003 at Mountain View Care Center.
Mrs. Muench was born March 17, 1936, in Germany to Carl Otto Schweinefleisch and Auguste Ruehl.
She was preceded in death by her husband, who died April 10, 1989 in Carson City; daughter, Margit Antoci on Feb. 21, 1989; two sons; three brothers and one sister.
Prior to living in Carson City, she lived in Glendale, Calif.
Mrs. Muench was a sales clerk in the retail industry. She belonged to the stitchery club at her church., St. Paul's Lutheran Family church.
Among her survivors are her son, Heiko Muench of Carson City; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home in Carson City is in charge of arrangements.
