A memorial service for Stella V. Severin, 83, a Gardnerville resident for the past four years, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Gall Catholic Church.
Mrs. Severin died July 1, 2003, at Mountain View Care Center of Carson City. She was born April 19, 1920, in Carnegie, Pa., to John and Frances Iwanski Milewski.
Before moving to Gardnerville, she lived in Livermore, Calif.
Mrs. Severin was a homemaker. She enjoyed making crafts, loved music and was a professional piano player. She was a member of St. Gall Catholic Church and was very active in St. Michael's Church in Livermore.
She was preceded in death by a son Jim in 1989 and brother Walter Milewski.
Among her survivors are her son Tom of Woonsocket, R.I.; daughters Janet Asmann of Gardnerville, Bea Wilkinson of Minden and Audrey Brooke of Livermore; brother Tony Milewski of Lacey, Wash.; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.
